FoxFlash/ New KT200 ECU Tool supports MEDC17/ EDC17 free clone service. Here we are going to show you the steps of this function and its support list in Original FoxFlash/ KT200.
Part 1.How to Perfect Clone MED/EDC17?
Tools:
Original ECU(ECU 1)
New ECU (ECU 2)
Steps:
1.Read Data
Read ECU1 and ECU2 respectively in BOOT MODE TRICORE/ BENCH TRICORE
*Separately read Micro [flash] and Eeprom data
2.Clone Path
Select driver.
TOOL BOOT.
TOOLS BOOT MODE—-INFINEON TRICORE Clone Service.
ECU type.
3.Load Data
Load on the first line the Micro file of the car control unit (ECU 1);
Load on the second line the Micro file of the purchased control unit (ECU 2).
4.Save Data
Click CLONE & SAVE and the software will save the file for the clone in the selected directory.
5.Write Data
Again, TOOLS BOOT MODE—-INFINEON TRICORE Clone Service—-ECU type
Select new file we just saved, write it to new ECU (ECU 2).
*Write in BOOT is recommended, BENCH TRICORE may cause incomplete ECU data
Notes:
1)On purchased ECU (ECU 2) you must also write the EEPROM of original ECU (ECU 1) without any changes
2)Separately write Micro[flash] and Eeprom, Do Not full Read/Write
3)If it prompts Can’t Write Micro[flash], do manual checksum
4)This function doesn’t support VW IMMO V
