Actually, it’s common to rework on the clone VAS5054, if you have no idea to do this, follow the below instruction.

It needs to remove the black transistor completely for the LT3010EMS8E that gets placed in there.
It’s true that voltage regulator that is commonly found on most clone units is actually better because it outputs more current than the original LT3010EMS8E. Because the dedicated regulator used in genuine units is not used with his “fine tuning” options enabled.
