How to Read BMW ECU data With Xhorse VVDI Prog

Step-by-step Instruction
Connect VVDI PRO with BMW ECU
Open VVDI PRO software, manually select BMW model and ECU type, then click “Wiring diagram”.
For example:
Type: 3-ECU
Brand: BMW_F_ENGINE
Device: MEVD1724(N20)
Chassiss No. F10/F11/F12
Then you will see an ECU model reading “Cutting a 15*15mm window” and prompt it is NO.2 wiring port
Drag the mouse you will see it reads “Applies to the following engine models: MEVD1725(N13), MEVD1724(N20), S63TU, N63TU”, then a wiring diagram pops up.
Follow the pin number on the wiring diagram to wire the ECU reflash cable with BMW ECU.
After complete the wiring, in the BMW ECU, find out the metal point as follows.
Connect this boot line to this metal point.
You will see VVDIprog yellow indicator blink
Back to VVDI prog V1.2.3, select “Create New” and click “Read” and you will see the process of checking VVDIProg, and meanwhile VVDIprog yellow indicator keep blink.
After complete reading the data, save data.

Note: when BMW CAS4+ all key lost, we read out CAS4+ data and BMW engine data, when it prompts it needs to check ISO Number, we can load engine EP data, then we can generate dealer key.
