VIN/ Odometer Check was added into Services in Autel MaxiSys Tablet.
This function allows us to check out VIN and KM info in various modules inside vehicle, so we know its maintenance history.
Let’s see how it does in a Mercedes GLC 300.

In Autel Tablet,
Service>>VIN/ Odometer Check
Enter vehicle info automatically or manually.
Scan all possible control units to check if they all have the same mileage or chassis number.
Only one mileage which is the correct mileage.
Three chassis numbers that are the same, and a chassis of pump unit that has nothing to do with it.
If a client comes telling us that he bought a secondhand car, we could give it more even if it is not 100% real depending on how units have been modified and how the KM had been lowered.
This is a quick and effective test to see if a vehicle has been manipulated and units changed.
