This is Porsche PIWS2 system tester II. It is the factory standard diagnostic and coding tool for Porsche vehicles from 2005 to now (New Panamera can only be diagnosed by using for Porsche PIWS2 Tester II).
This system is running Version 15.10 software, which is only for Panasonic CF19/ CF30 laptop.The license is unlimited; that is, it will not expired.The software only fit for PIWS2 ii Semtec hardware.
PIWS2 running on the CF30 is much, much faster than running on the normal HDD. This CF30 is in excellent condition for the software is inside the hard drive that no need installation and has a battery that will last hours. But, this Panasonic CF-30 is a second-hand.
From the PCB board, you can easily to learn strong diagnostic function for its good quality of PIWS2 II. This system will allow you to do advanced diagnostics (reading factory specific codes, which a generic OBDII reader will not do), code modules (replacing a DMU unit/ ABS unit/ climate control, etc), code keys, run system tests on the engine/ transmission (such as VarioCam Plus), change engine and transmission maps, recalibrate PSM/ ABS, data log any parameters you need, actuate the ABS for proper brake bleeding, and much more. This is also the only way to change the clutch fluid in a PDK gearbox. Porsche PIWS2 Tester II is the only diagnostic tool can be used for new Panamera. Based on current project planning, all earlier vehicle models will gradually be changed over to the new for Porsche PIWS2 Tester II by the end of 2010. When Porsche PIWS2 Tester II is distributed, it will contain one basic piece of software. This is necessary in order to start and configure the tester.
ps. Porsche PIWS2 Tester I will no longer be available once the earlier diagnostic programs have been transferred to for Porsche PIWS2 Tester II.
With the included cable, you can handle 911(997)(991), Boxster/Cayman, (987), Cayenne up to MY 2010, Cayenne from MY 2011 and Panamera; Cayenne up until the current model. With the round pin adapter cable, you can handle all previous generation cars such at 964/ 993/ 928/ 944/ 968, etc. Current 9X1 911/ Boxster/ Cayman cars, and the new Panamera require a PIWS2.
