How to Test X431 PAD VII Tablet VCI Connection?

Question:

X431 PAD VII Elite won’t respond after I connected its VCI using main cable.

The indicator is off, so

Here is the troubleshooting ways:

1)Remove this cable

2)Make sure OBD cable is the one in X431 PAD 7 package

3)Check if pins in OBD cable are broken

4)Check if OBD port in vehicle is fine

5)If everything is checked no problems, try the other cars and see if indicator is on

If not, the diagnostic connector is the problem, try the other OBD cable
