This article is a guide on how to replace gearbox modules for VW/Audi using X431 IMMO Tablet.
We have two ways to perfectly replace gearbox for systems of IMMO4, IMMO5, MQB, and MLB. Here we will show you how.

How to Replace VAG Gearbox?
Method 1. Clone
If immo data of original gearbox in vehicle can be read out, users can clone module directly.
Simple Guide:
1.Select “IMMO PROG”
2.Select “Gearbox”
3.Select”VW/Audi”
4.Select “DL382-7F”
5.Select “View Wiring Diagram”
Follow clone steps to back up and restore data, direct load data into vehicle and no need to synchronize anti-theft data online.
Method 2. Match
Step 1.
Select “IMMO PROG” in X431-APP home menu.
Back up data of new gearbox outside vehicle.
Step 2.
Install new gearbox.
Enter vehicle model software via “IMMO” function to perform “Gearbox Module Replacement”.
Step 3.
Back up and parse anti-theft data from new module in original vehicle (e.g. remote key, engine module, etc.)
Load backup data of new module, and parse anti-theft data out for replacement and matching.
