A few days ago I fill air conditioning on Opel Meriva A ,1.7CDTi, engine type DTH. When I finished I turned on air condition and leave charging station reconnected. I noticed on a high pressure line measuring device goes into red stage. With my OPCOM Interface FW V1.59 I tested cooling fan and found that speed1,2 and 3 don’t work, only the last speed at 118c
The problem was blown cooling fan resistor an even bigger problem was It cannot be purchased separately only together with cooling fan motor assembly and wiring (very expensive)
Then I “try” replace resistor (I had it at home) with golf V heater blower motor resistor, briefly tested all fan speeds and It works, the air conditioning system is not overheating anymore, engine temperature reaches only about 90c
The car has been driving for about one week with air conditioning on, cooling fan works perfect
If it helps someone, It’s a cheap solution(save about 400eur)
