This tip are for how to do PT position reset on Honda by the newest diagnostic device VPECKER Diagnosis V4.13
Stuff needed:
Wireless VPECKER Easydiag
Laptop with Windows XP/ Win 7,8,10
Steps:
Connect VPECKER with the car. (After connection, the indication light turns on red.)
Check the connection of Wifi and Bluetooth, if connected sucessfuly, the indication light will turn to blue.
Run Vpecker, and start to diagnose.
Choose the vehicle(HONDA PRO), and enter the diagnostic system:
Press next page.
Select GENERAL>>ACCORD>>PGM FI
Connecting ECU…
ECU info; read DCTs; clear DTCs; data list; ECM reset; TP position reset; adjustment; replace ECM/PCM; inspection
Select TP Position Reset.
Click OK.
The test confirms if the TP learning value is within limits. The learning value depends on carton accumulation around the throttle body and stored in the ECM/PCM. If it exceeeds the limit, reset and clearn the throttle body at the same time.
The tool will reset the learning value.
Need to clean the throttle body at the same time if reset the TP learning value.
Click OK to reset the TP learning value.
Communicating…
The learning value has been cleared.
NOTICE:
Clean the throttle body, refer to the service manual. if not, some problems may occur.
