How Alientech KESS3 Read Mercedes ME2.1?

Purpose:

Read Mercedes BOSCH ME2.1 using Alientech KESS3 Tool.

Here are three ways to read this ECU:

1) By linking together Pin 1 and Pin 16 (+12V) on the OBD connector of the vehicle;

2)By using the Universal Cable 144300K201 when there is a round diagnostic connector;

3)By linking Pin 4 (+12V) to Pin 3 directly on ECU connector, as shown in picture:
