Question:
OBDSTAR G3 or OBDSTAR DC706 having issues with the OBDSTAR TCM-019 Cable. I’ve tried on 4 different transmissions and I can’t get it to read anything at all. Have the same problem with the TCM-025 ZF 8HP Connectors.
Here is the Solution:
On the cable, there is a ridge half way up the connector that you need to shave down.
Compare the connector to the harness on the vehicle and you will see the difference.
If you remove the module, that cable will work, but it doesn’t go deep enough into the connector.
