VW HU162T 9 Cuts: Dolphin XP005 or 2M2 Tank Pro?

To cut VW HU162T 9-cut key, locksmiths have to decode and cut three sides.

Here we will use two different key cutting tools for this job.

1.Menu

XP005 supports HU162T 8/ 9/ 10 cut.

2M2 Tank 2 Pro works with phone app, and users could search for the key type they want.

It also support three HU162T blades.

2.Decode

Both require users to decode door lock using LISHI HU162T 9-Cut Decoder.

XP005 needs to decode side bitting first.

Then calculate missing bittings.

2M2 Tank users enter all bittings first, and phone app will convert them to key bittings.

3.Key Cutting

Both will cut A/ B/ C side by bittings they just got.

For XP005, an extra key blank is required to help fix the blade to be cut.

And users should turn clamp to different sides by notices.

While 2M2 Tank doesn’t need extra blanks and its users don’t have to adjust clamp.

Done! Both new keys work flawless.
